Marathon Oil just released (EFS acquisition):

"...and a pending acquisition of approximately 4,300 net acres for a currently estimated $227 million...The acreage in the pending acquisition overlaps Marathon Oil operated acreage, is currently producing 2,900 net barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOED) and will add 40 net drilling locations to Marathon Oil's inventory."

Another independent valuation of EFS acreage. We don't know where it is - it might be Karnes or to the east but MRO seems to be focused on areas not too distant from TXN's.

Note that MRO is not buying 100% WI. That does not seem to be a problem to it provided that it is operator.

TXN's acreage is greater (7,196 net before the new JV).
