Eshmun. I have thought the exact same thing. A merger would involve issue of BPT shares which dilutes share base and negates some of the upside. I would imagine a combination of script and cash would be a nice way for BPT acquire cheap assets and preserve the upside. I think BPT needs DLS oil reserves and wet gas assets much more than the other way around
