If ORG was planning acquisitions it wouldn't be telling the market about them.
It is possible to deal with debt, cut costs and reduce assets. Let's not forget there is a strategic piece here as well. Look at the glng deal with SXY which involved a cash payment and gas purchase agreement.
I think have the bigger oil companies with stronger balance sheets is a plus. Furthermore in this divestment process, DLS will have the opportunity to pick up productive assets cheaply but also acreage very cheaply .
I truly believe as I mentioned before DLS has the opportunity to replicate NST in the gold space , that is pick up good assets from the majors cheaply due to their over leverage
