That is where holders have an advantage. They wait for something concrete to come from trials etc and know the SP will react to that.
Non-holders tend to push that a company is going under every day for six months until that announcement and then suddenly disappear into the ether when the SP goes up significantly. Some to emerge as born again holders.
Owning shares is a very interesting experience.
