I love it when we're drilling, it does get those fantastical juices flowing.

Thanks to all the great posters here and the wealth of information you provide to us all. I am of the opinion though that even with all the knowledge and indicators in the world - there's still an element of luck in drilling success. In a way it's all a gamble, educated of course. But it's that adventurous side that we, as educated punters, begin to nourish. As for the motherlode, well, I still see it in the image of an upside down octopus, like one poster described here.  

I'm not sure what the average is between holes drilled and pay-dirt found but with all the holes SGQ have drilled in these past years, I believe our odds are becoming far more favourable. Time will tell but in the meantime - it's good to give the imagination a bit of exercise.
