There's ethics clearance, which I would anticipate would be leading up to the clinical pilot trial.

The Company has also flagged other things they are working on, such as potential for collaborations with industry partners, applying for more grants, any update on the liver progress in the PA hospital (which excites me a lot).

Liver side of things...
If it has real legs, it could be even bigger than the stroke side of things. Not to distract from the stroke focus (which is also immense market size), but if experts and health orgs/Govts are predicting 25% of the global population has varying stages of fatty liver disease, how will it be screened? Right now there is biopsy (there's no way you can biopsy everyone in the world to see who has it....) or MRI with advanced software upgrades in order to see more information which usually you are showing progressed stages of the disease by the time you are being put in an MRI to check it out. There is no way you could get the entire population screened in MRI's either, they're already in high demand and short supply/inaccessible. A low-cost device could be a very viable option for wide-scale screening/diagnosis.

Drug/Pharma Companies are spending billions of dollars developing drugs to treat liver disease, these are in late stages of approvals. Imagine if there was a tool which could be used to diagnose on a very broad scale, in order to sell these treatments/drugs, I think that would be appealing to these drugs companies as it converts to more sales for them!
