Great article Kate. M&A activity certainly picking up in the Biotech space and only set to increase.
Just thinking how things could heat up for IMU very quickly if initial results from the Phase 2 HER-Vaxx trial appear positive or even better - produce a strong immune response in patients.
Wouldn't take much in the current environment for a big Pharma company to open up the cheque book if trial data looks promising.
At its current share price of 2.1c, IMU has a market cap of AUD$76 million (USD$55 million). In 12 months time, even if they offered a 10c-per-share takeover premium to buy us out it would still be equivalent to the annual after-work drinks bill for companies like GSK, Merck or Pfizer!
