[1] Despite Hingdog's polishing of BOT's image I doubt that anyone would have found the trial not looking good so I think we need to look elsewhere - in fact a continuing trial would appear to suggest no safety concerns, moreover excluding the BoD, the big holders' reputations are probably worth more than potential losses, while the BoD is somewhat constrained from selling.

[2] One hypothesis is that share-price smashing has been financed by buying at 10 cents, selling at 16+ cents and partaking of the 11 cent profligacy and now selling down - even to 5 cents would be a possibility. Note that volume calculations are totally unreliable as shares from the despondent, margin-called, and stop-lost would fall into the hands of the smasher, apart of course from shares simply changing hand.

[3] Another hypothesis is that big pharma has noticed and a company is trying to make an end-run around the BOT stable of patents. IMO this would be more likely to send BOT's share price up rather than down.
