Premium hard coking coal offers firmly above $250 per tonne fob Australia
The gap between cfr China and fob Australia prices for premium hard coking coal remains wide, with offers on an fob Australia basis coming in firmly above $250 per tonne.
Cargoes of premium products were heard offered at up to $255 per tonne fob Australia on Wednesday December 20, according to sources. A day earlier, there was talk that one such cargo had changed hands around $258 per tonne fob Australia. Details about the transaction could not be confirmed at the time of writing.
