A lot of otherwise reasonable companies get a bad rap from such "crowdsourced" review sites, because there is an inherent bias to them - usually the ones who have had the most negative experiences are also the most vocal and willing to spread their views, and those views can be formed after experiencing just one isolated situation.
When I first moved to Australia, I was very put off by AGL's reviews on the same site. It's been mostly smooth and pleasant for me since though. Same kind of story with TPG (sadly I am not an investor in either).
