A few calculations from the slide show:
50 Billion devices connected by 2020
50 PB of data per day. Which equates to 50,000 terrabytes per day.
As we learnt from the August presentation Buddy will charge
$150 per TB for storage per month.
Now we know the first performance bonus incentives is to have 20 million connections per day consecutively for three weeks. So lets have a look at the maths here.
It is estimated that if 50B devices were connected that 50,000 TB of data would be generated per day. To work out how much one device generates we would do the following equation:
50,000 TB divided by
50,000,000,000:
Which equals 0.000001 TB (Which is one megabyte) data generated per device/connection.
Now 20,000,000 devices connected to buddy's platform would generate 20TB of data uploaded per day based on these statistics. This equates to $3000 revenue per day. Over a month of 30 days this is $90,000 (pessimistically). Over a year $1,095,000 (pessimistically) I state pessimistically because I am of the opinion that data does not get deleted after just one month. In essence we could be looking at many multiples of the $1M figure.
Here is the real kicker.

If we look at Buddy's volume chart. They are estimating that two clients “US State Government Department” and an “International Airline” could generate enough volume to achieve Milestone One. At least this is how I am reading the chart.
$1M at the absolute minimum per year for two clients... Say no more.
