I saw this today in the pharmacy daily. Was wondering why we didn't get involved and try and sell wholesale through pharmacies; (I like the fact they are trying to get major distributions but thought they would have had that ready for FDA approval.

Pharmacy continence courses
The Guild Pharmacy Academy
and Continence Foundation of
Australia have joined forces to
develop new educational resources
for pharmacy staff providing
continence care and advice.
The online courses are in two
formats - one for pharmacists
and one for pharmacy assistants,
and employ consumer case
scenarios to highlight the various
community based management
and treatment services that are
available for patients suffering with
incontinence.
Pharmacy assistants can now
access the free course, titled
‘Continence care for pharmacy
assistants’, via the Guild’s online
learning platform, myLEARNING
and it may be used as Recognition
of Prior Learning for the accredited
unit ‘SIRCHCSS305 Advise on
continence management’.
The pharmacist course, titled
“Continence care for pharmacists”,
will be released in the coming
weeks via the Guild’s myCPD online
learning platform and includes
the business case for providing a
pharmacy continence care service.
Enrolment via myCPD can be done
immediately at www.mycpd.org.au
to receive updates on the launch of
this course, for which the Guild is
currently seeking CPD accreditation.
President of the Vic branch of the
Pharmacy Guild, Anthony Tassone
said: ‘Continence care products
are a key category in community
pharmacy and help define us as a
health destination for many in the
community.
“These online courses will
help pharmacy staff start the
conversation with those who are
seeking help with incontinence, and
assist in the appropriate referral of
the consumer to the pharmacist.”
Training pharmacy assistants
will ensure they can also provide
consumers with accurate product
information and advice, as
well as reinforce pharmacist​

recommendations, he added.
