Thanks Sharks, agreed the cap factor you have provided is generally accepted for a feed in rate meaning there is fossil burning generation within the grid.
I was talking more of the scenario which Protean WEC is being targeted whereby it may be the main source of power generation rather than a supplement to the grid. There, many factors apply such as storage and being able to utilize the power when it is being generated at its peak, and loss factors in storage.
Under those scenarios my estimates may be closer to practical realities. I derive these numbers from my own research and discussions with SHE management.

I would like to add that I don't think anyone is unwelcome on this board and all questions that don't border on trolling should be accepted as part of normal discourse and discussed.
