They certainly have mentioned it before, but they limit it to steel production raw materials - otherwise they could buy up a few rare earth an uranium hopefuls (price has dropped a tad since Fukishima).
There was talk of some NT iron ore hopefuls, but not sure where it will end up. All part of the big cash generating machine (I hope and trust).
