I don't think it was a mistake at all that the announcement / presentation released after the market closed.
Tesserent looking for long term growth and to attract long term investors. I don't think they are concerning themselves with releasing presentations just prior to the market opening so a bunch of traders can scalp a 10% profit. Tesserent happy for people to consider the presentation over the weekend, and make an informed decision about whether to invest in Tesserent.
They way I see it:-
1. A business that is actually making a profit - not just selling a story or digging holes in the ground;
2. No debt;
3. In a good area to be doing business, cyber security - lots of tail winds and a market that is growing and that government has been talking about. Governments likely to be dishing out contracts in the cyber security area going forward;
4. Management team with good credentials;
5. First cyber security business to list on ASX - first mover advantage and mr market not know too much about the cyber security area and how to value a company like Tesserent. Potential for company to be undervalued;
6. Reasonable valuation at only 18 million market cap.
No guarantees, but the sort of business that could do well.
