A certain religious-type fervour appears to be swamping this thread, and it doesn't make for very nice reading.
On the one hand, you've got Bruutz82, attack dog Guggs et al writing about things they cannot possibly know about: to wit possible future production profiles for AKK and what this might mean for cash flow, profitability etc.
Like a Catholic priest doing marketing in an old person's home, Bruutz82 et al base their entire arguments on faith and dismissing other views that don't support their faith-based view of the future.
Sector Lead and Autosime, by contrast, long term and respected contributors to HC have evolved through AKK's special school of hard knocks. I shudder to think how much dough they lost by listening to AKK's palaver over the years. Hopefully, not the house and hopefully they've got enough left to buy the vegies for the weekend. They've heard it all before and the reality is AKK have never delivered.
For mine, i'd love for AKK to strike a series of gushers here and grow into a profitable producer. This would surely increase my chances of getting some of my dough back that i've lost on this dog. As it stands now, the only benefit is as a tax loss against profits elsewhere. But i'd much rather be able to report a capital gain to the ATO.
As for recent activities, the absence of comment on the first stage drilling of the second and third wells in the current program can't be misconstrued. There is nothing happening there. If there was AKK would be shouting it from the rooftops.
At the risk of appearing ignorant, The benefits of the structure of the current drilling program seems skewed away from AKK shareholders.
One last teensy weensy red herring thingy, wasn't that list of drilling plant mobilised to site a thrilling read in one of the presentations? And what that had to do with AKK is anyone's guess.
