Coupla years ago POO was over 100 bucks and the US regional banks were lending big time on that basis
Do u guys really think its going to stay down here for too long and drag the US and as a result the world into financial crisis and a depression? How long will the regional banks be allowed to NOT provide for bad and doubtful debts to this industry as they seem to be atm? My bet ...... and AKK is a great way to make this bet on numbers exposed today ....... is that the yanks will stay in control even if they have to wrap towels round their heads and end Saudi production in the name of "Allah". Maybe they wont have to given the way the Saudis are already embarked on a suicidal mission with their neighbors. IMO we will soon enough be talking 60-80 bucks again. That's my small 3 year AKKOA "portfolio insurance" punt for a conservative 50 bagger from here. Sometimes u need top look beyond yr nose ..... unless u r a day trader of course. Lets see those flows first and remember the field can support 135 wells, to be funded when appropriate, and further, that with any recovery in US shale oil biz, AKK will be at the head of it.
Happy to keep AKK as my solo oil proxy in current market golden ambience. I aint an oilman but the potential here relative to the majority of the oil sector is compelling.
