If they re-activating the buyback today, the management is actually reactive instead of proactive. Hope the buy volumes today are driven by the market and not by the buyback action otherwise it will be a waste of money.
Whoever are appointed to be in charge of buyback, they should closely monitor the share price movement and act like a goal keeper and preventing "an opportunistic trader" to destroy the share price using a low volume.
