Buyback is normally used by large companies to reduce the number of shares on issue. For companies generating earnings, this increases earnings per share ( increase earnings per share and you have a positive impact on share price provided P/E remains constant or rises ).
Buybacks are very rarely used by microcap companies. NVA put the mechanism in place to support the share price ( when they deem it is necessary ).
