re: Ann: Investor Presentation Initial Portfo... I was surprised at the upswing today - perhaps it was people looking for good news, but even in that plan the good news is some time off.

Their plan acknowledges only two major divisions, which is a sizeable cut-back from their previous size. This alone demonstrates why there has been a fall in market value and share price. However, the second large division is International, which means it's tied into foreign currency. Any firm with a significant amount of foreign earnings is seeing their value fall as the earnings do; this element wasn't acknowledged in their presentations or forecasts.

That leaves Geosciences as a solid base which is good, but is much less of a company than had previously been presented. Then there's the significant loss that's now forecast for the current year, so it will be some time before we even see if this plan has been successfully implemented, and before positive earnings are forecast to be seen again.

Given all this, I'm surprised so many were willing to jump back in today - it's likely there will be better opportunities in the journey ahead for those wanting to buy in.
