As investors you and I are not the people caught in this poverty trap. It's the people who haven't escaped who don't get a voice in all this.
I use the vitriol which the situation deserves, again banks are bad as well sure. Credit Cards and payday loans are the worst though, on average.
My house is paid off at 36 my portfolio is $420,000 (I have no debt) and compounds at over 30% per annum without ever inheriting a cent. Curiosity to learn and ask questions is the most valuable asset parents can give their kids.
We make our own luck sure but I don't blame poverty on the poor when it is the system which keeps them there.
