I agree... I bought in over a year ago at around 45c and then again at around 33c (bringing the total average price of my holding to 39.8c)... It was tough going holding on through the last year, seeing it drop.

But I looked at it this way. Having a look at historical pricing and dividends and doing my sums using CAPM and DDM to me shows the company as undervalued (believing this suspension of dividends to be only temporary).

Look at the company, it has been around ever since I was a child, with Cash Converters being a household name in an industry that will always be around. They have the competitive advantage with their name as there will always be people around needing money quick (and who can't sell online) as well as needing loans - Cash Converters in Australia is one of the first places people think of due to brand recognition.

The company over the last year has seen re-focus and changes in the board which I believe will be great for the company. The class action as well I believe will be a non-event.

This is why I've held on as long as I have, and now it's time to reap those rewards. Always remember, its not so much about the price at which you buy a stock (within reason) but how long you are in the market (assuming you've invested in a company that will stand the test of time).

Given I'll be holding for the long term, I believe I will make an extremely handsome return on my investment (expecting to sell around the $1.00 mark for a 2.5x profit in the future - excluding dividends which will return).
