Quite right, but there is a long time line required, and a very lot of holes and assays to get through.

That will drain the kitty and tempt loose or impatient holders to bail out - raising now with a relatively strong SP may not be a bad idea.

Despite the great potential, there is a lot of time and patience required before real strength and SP growth comes, that time needed, will for many holders, trump the promise of riches much later.

Put more in the kitty now, then settle back for the long run of drilling on all the high prospect sites they have?
