It definetly has an effect on the SP as the market takes note of articles. As the SP is effected it may mean we have to issue more shares to pay for the next CR for an acquisition. This means more dilution of EPS than we should have had So it affects all holders in a detrimental way. It may also mean the target plays harder ball than usual. if we did not know better one may suspect that the author may have some connection with shorters or was also a shorter. But unlike the author i would never make accusations of any nature without substantiating evidence.
