I never said they made a profit, what i said was the cash cost of production never fell below the metals price.

They just did not make enough money to be able to repay the debt when it was due.

The drop in share price to the horrible lows was not about profit or loss, it was factoring in failure due to the inability to generate the cash to repay $200m of debt when it was due, and the worry that the banks would not roll the debt as they did to OZL
