"why have WBT singled out neuro-computing"

Actually there really isn't a lot of info, as far as I know, about WBT's AI capabilities, other than the section in the recent presentation & some snippets of info from their interviews.

From what I understand they claim to be able to "hardware" emulate a brain cell, as opposed to "software" emulation, which I think BrainChip & others?, do through programming the FPGA. But I'm no expert in this area maybe someone else can clarify. WBT claims hardware emulation would be faster, but who knows they might be a perfect match with/for BRN!!

The way they do this emulation is I think, through the multi-level state of each bit in there chip. eg. conventional memory is single state ie. can only be a single value 0 ot 1. A 2 state cell would have 2 states ie 00, 01, 10 or 11, a 3 state 000 ... 111 etc. The max states other memory claim to have is 4 or 5. WBT claim there's can have tested up to 9 states per bit ie. 000000000 ... 111111111 . How this emulates a brain cell I'm not sure.. does anyone know other than Prof Tour???
