This sounds lke the "potash" boom of a few years ago and one company with a comparable resource which springs to mind is Minemakers, who are still looking years ahead to sell their "world class product". My point is that the huge deposit site is great, but only 15,000 tonnes of HPA grade alumina is produced each year (is this many times below demand levels or not??). So these guys might be ahead in terms of technology and extraction cost, but even if they takeover the world's current production in the next few years, the prices are likely to plummet as a 300 year supply comes online to only provide 15-20kt demand.
{These are rough numbers, but 4bn tonne target for these guys alone, at 34% Al2O3, reduced by a third again to achieve 99.99% still leaves millions of tonnes of HPA...chemists please correct me if I am wrong}
