In relation to the up coming highly awaited AML trial and how it works,and some for of you it was understood,the following was taken of the latest presentation;

• Ready to initiate trial 1H 2016 • 15 -18 patients • Expected recruitment ~12 months • Final reporting Phase 1b expected Q2-Q3 2017

Trial is read to start in 4-8 weeks,and begins with a dosing of 3 patients,they are then tested and observed for any adverse effects,the time this takes may be variable.Then the dose is increased with the next three patients and the cycle is repeated until all 15-18 patients have been dosed.

Reporting to the market,the start of the trial will be reported(may cause speculation),then it is unclear if under market reporting standards that interim results will be announced as I would think early results with a small number of patients may distort the final outcome.

If the trial is discontinued due to any reason (ie dosing)then it will be announced straight away.One could also draw the conclusion if the dosing of patients is progressing well and we hear very little information(there will be references to the trial in the quarterly reports) then it will go to its conclusion and the final reporting will occur in Q2-Q3

In relation to Celator the latest trial (it was a phase 3 trial which is more advanced than ours) have given patients an overall improvement in survival rates for their new drug of 6 months and their MC on the announcement went up 6 fold to $780 million,same researcher,Professor Lancet,so we know what can be achieved if and its still a big if, things work out...a big prize to be won.
