JRL's MO is to find reasonable projects when the baby is being thrown out with the bathwater...then let others spend the money on the ground.
ALY was spun out of JRL and clearly a similar thing is in play with ALY given the relatively weak cash position after drilling their best targets and not hitting anything company making. The gold they hold is valuable and will be monetised in due course.
Merv has it pretty much spot on IMO. There will be some news when those exploring hit something significant (or choose to share if it is more equivocal) but it might be pretty slow going waiting for the news.
