Not many companies starting with a $650m market cap get a chance to pull off a 25% EPS accretive pre-synergies transaction. It seems SGF had been stalking NLC for some time from what they said on the conference call. They also talked up revenue and expense synergies to be gained over time so the eventual EPS accretion will potentially be much better than 25%.
