I don't mind the acquisition to be honest. As the person above me said it's all pretty logical and well justified and actually gives BKW a leg of growth for at least another 10 years presuming they are able to get some traction in the US. Would agree the PE ownership is a bit of a red flag though. The fact that these guys are ultra conservative convinces me that they would have put a massive amount of research and thought into the deal.
