Quantra is making a few moves in this direction but it seems that Hologics have neither the infrastructure or the inclination to really compete. It is probably the right move for them as they can capture some captive demand without having to offer a best in class product. In time Volpara would make a fantastic purchase for Hologics.

Best update from VHT for some time and whilst the last 4C was disappointing the opportunity that a federal mandate would provide is the reason I have not sold a single share as always believed governments would eventually make this standard practice for breast screening.
The newly increased sales team may soon be rather busy.
