OK - I will take a different angle on this one as I didn't make my point very clearly this morning (was very busy at work)

I am predominantly a trader though I do look at fundamentals and also macro factors are a major point of interest

I stand by my earlier statement that at todays price (42c and below) Vei is a buy IMHO.

This morning the stock gapped down from 52c to 42c. Now I know gaps don't "have" to be filled, but in my experience the VAST majority are. If the pro money were dumping this one, I believe they would have closed the gap this morning. That gap is literally asking to be filled.

Also that gap this morning is significantly outside the bollinger bands and that almost guarantees a bounce.

What really perked my interest was the volume today - the single biggest day on record - on a major gap down - hmmm - there was some smart money and deep pockets lapping this up today. I think they would have cleaned through alot of stops to get that far down, I was impressed with the effort.

Look back few months ago to Cochlear to see what the market did when they announced some unsavory news - the pros pummelled it...they wait for these moments to buy

Volume is validity and that volume coming in today was support. Conversly, if we had had strong news this morning that pushed the stock up to 70c on that kind of volume I would not be posting this now and would have sold out as that would have been a definite sell signal.

35% drops like this are alot, but in small cap stocks with registers less than 100mill shares the swings are often violent in both directions - par for the course

PRY healthcare sniffing around, hot money moving into healthcare sector and a strong long term story unfolding - aging population and strong increasing interest in lasic surgery. Recessionay domestic economy could push more people to this if they can get med insurance as it is a cheaper alternative to contacts long term.

I agree with you wholeheartedly the debt is a major fundamental issue, but this news today was not significant enough to drive the share price from 62c to 33.5c in a week IMO

The marketcap now more than compensates for the debt on a strong well positioned growth story like this with such positive cash flows. I don't know who is holding out for dividends... management would be much better paying off the debt and going for capital growth. This has the potential for many multiples of todays price if management play this right.

I still hold to my buy on this one today and you can say I told you so in a couple of weeks if this doesn't bounce up by the end of Sept.
