Gaps may eventually get filled.
I'm talking short term. COH tooktime to get filled and after the first high volume down day , there were further falls, thus allowing one to buy at lower prices. Note that VEI 's 200 day ma also lies below current market price.
The avg time of fill of a downward breakaway gap is around 168 days. Reference : bulkowski
