Some mre random thoughts on this announcement....
Great to see sales were up for May.
Good to see a timeline for the Hengya Cement expansion with 2019 mentioned....although dates do tend to slip.
Shame our coal deposit couldn't be much further away from this cement project/Tanga being on the east coast. They must be considering trucking the coal east to the Mtwara terminal then barge to Tanga.
Not sure how advanced this coal fired project in Kenya is?
Not sure how we are funding the crusher and extra weigh bridge?
Confused by GR's comment "We are now addressing our pricing of our coal to increase to South African levels"
The government just banned the import of cheap coal from South Africa?? How much were we selling our coal for?
Taken from a recent news article - "Data from IndexMundi, a statistics online service provider showed that the October price of coal in South Africa was $83 per tonne but there is no information on the coal price in Tanzania."
Hopefully the company makes some money to pay down debt. I hate debt.
I'd rather see a debt reduction that dividends etc. Take a leaf from FMG's book.
Super unpredictable government these guys are operating in.
