What land? You'd better start reading up on the Mining Laws in India.I would've thought that any shareholder of NSL/IOR would already know/read up on the mining Laws in India.
Yes, you can buy a Mining Lease from the owner, but if its any good then you'll pay a fortune. NSL was foolish enough to get the current leases before doing proper due diligence, this is shown out by the recent drill results. IOR doesn't need anymore stuff ups.
If you want to start from scratch and obtain a Mining Lease from the Government then you must take part in an auction. If you want to go to explore for minerals you firstly need a Reconnaissance Permit and then a Prospecting Licence and then apply for a Mining Licence. Allow about 10 years minimum. I doubt whether the new CEO is even up to speed on getting a new project yet.
Ask the EX CEO of IRL about getting iron ore Prospecting Licence ( 10 years and no result)
You might THINK that you like mining in India, but nobody from Australia or Canada has been successful, IOR has been added to the list NOW.
