A US acquisition by APA would quite likely be accretive - have a look at where US MLPs are trading.
To my mind, US MLPs offer the best risk-adjusted returns globally right now (of everything that i've looked at) - you can buy some of the very best hydrocarbon infrastructure in the world at low double-digit (yes, double digit) FCFE yields, growing organically at mid-to-high single digits, funded with rock-solid balance sheets (3-4x EBITDA).
