The market may be worried about Drillsearch putting in a higher counter offer and putting DLS share price under pressure for this reason. Short term stuff and I'm sure related to some sort of arbitrage trading.
Isn't DLS 19.9% holding going to be an issue for Magnum Hunter?
Definitely agree that longer term Magnum Hunter involvement is a positive for the Basin and future takeovers of the locals.
I guess it's a matter of DLS management deciding if a higher bid is worth it or if they just take the extra cash from Magnum Hunter.
