Totally agree with your sentiments @hilly_sandman. You took the words out of my mouth - "striking while the iron is hot". If there was a time to hit the accelerator it is surely now. A competitive MOAT, growing market share into existing markets and the potential to grow into new markets. This stuff is time sensitive and to waste that advantage would equate to poor management of a very special business. The company's first responsibility is to the business which then creates flow on to the shareholders. I believe the growth from this acceleration will far outweigh anything an SPP would bring. And as others have said I'm sure you'll get a chance to buy around 1.60 soon anyway.
