Orakai, what is your evidence that the shorters are playing games? To me it appears interest in shorting DTE has all but vanished.
ASIC report net short position at 3/10 as only about 5.5M shares, around 0.5% of total issue.
ASX reports short sales for 8/10 as just under 90,000.
Compare that to the 40M+ net position around the BOA/ML time. I'm fairly sure that particular mob are leaving us alone now.
