"Sonic drilling costs ~$250/m", - maybe if they were drilling hardrock , but in soft rock and unconsolidated rock like at MACE which Sonic drilling is ideal for I doubt the cost would be more than $80 a meter of course then there is sample testing costs on top of that .
THere could be an issue getting a sonic drill though as you mainly hear about them being used for testing core at construction sites .
The company sure did do a lot of RC drilling at Mace before finding out it was not giving a good representative sample -seems strange
Would be nice to do some novice kriging to work out a possible resource size based on the DD drilling , and maybe using some RC drilling with an upscaled value per drill hole but I do not have the time or motivation .
