Hi Cobar, I agree that Chile is low priority - why search overseas (with the associated costs, country risk etc) when you have projects in your backyard that are potentially world class (Cobar district). Management has taken the same view and JV'd the Chile project out so HLX does not need to spend anything until after a successful Bankable Feasibility Study but retains an equity interest in the event that the JV partner (Manhattan) gets lucky with the drilling. This is an excellent position to be in re Chile - I know many on HC like to bag HLX management but personally I think they are on the right track, even if they are a bit tardy with their updates!
