@skygypsy – Over the past week I took the time to review all of the charts I have for the low cap spec stocks in my watch lists. I’d say about 90% of them follow the same general pattern as the ATS chart. My trend daily chart for ATS is shown below.

The message from reading the chart is pretty obvious to me. Invest and/or trade these stocks when they are in uptrend and avoid them when they are in downtrend. There are lots of ways that you can use to determine trend. My favourite is the MMAs as shown on the chart. It’s pretty easy to see when ATS went into an uptrend, when it went into a new downtrend, and what the current trend is now.

I’ve also marked on the chart the levels, horizontal pink lines, where high volume price action occurred. The 38c level was associated with Ultra-High Volume price action and hence the failure of this potential support level is of significance.The brave may wish to try and pick a bottom for the SP, but the sensible will wait until the SP provides confirmation of a sustained trend change to that of up.
