Good fnd, Akap!
I could not seem to find their website.
After reading it, all I can say is Wow! I don't know whether they are any good but at least they are not manipulative banksters focused on shafting ordinary holders.
From their site:
Core principles of Freestyle Investors' strategy are simple:
Long Term Ownership : Between strategy, management and operations, it takes an awful lot to "get it right". Once that formula has been implemented, ideally, investments can compound in value over sustained periods of time. Freestyle has no outside investors or Fund objectives to meet through liquidity events – we are driven entirely by the merits of the underlying investment, and thus results in many long and durable partnerships and investments.
Identifying Opportunity : Extraordinary investments come from extraordinary insights and perspectives which, in general, are not fully recognized or appreciated. Freestyle prides itself on developing very thoughtful and innovative perspectives with respect to our investments. This ability to generate and, with our management teams, capitalize on differentiated insights, is at the core of our investment strategy.
Senior Sponsorship : While our typical check size is the same as many middle-market firms, we distinguish ourselves by overseeing each investment with very senior and experienced talent. This is a major point of differentiation for us. Portfolio companies know they are partnered, personally, with a highly successful investment partner, with decades of experience, who will be there with commitment, advice and energy, for as long as necessary.
Management Excellence : The greatness of America lies in our country's entrepreneurial spirit; our investment focus is on expanding and supporting this entrepreneurial spirit. Our objective is to own and to help build great companies, not to run a fund management business. We care only about generating capital appreciation for each of our companies. Freestyle brings uncompromising character and integrity to our dialogue, negotiation and relationships with portfolio companies. We expect, and enjoy, the same from our management partners.
Our Investment Style
We are deeply involved investors and active board members; however, it is not our goal or desire to engage in the daily operations of companies in which we invest. We tend to act as change agents and challenge conventional wisdom; we push ourselves and the companies and teams we partner with to constantly achieve higher goals. We have a flat organizational structure and an efficient review process. While we conduct intensive and focused due diligence, we are not "checking boxes" and are focusing only on critical issues. Importantly, we are unburdened by Investment Committees and reporting hierarchies within Freestyle, so our decisions are made expeditiously. Portfolio candidates always know where we stand.
