That's almost $2m of stock.
He got it at 20c in Jan - ie when it was $6m - so I guess he wanted on the board to see if he can get this moving back in to the black.
And he'd no doubt like to see the stock over 20c by the end of 2014 for there to be value in his 15mil options.
Good to see another high profile local on the board as the politics sound pretty tough up there - hopefully that will be better now the election has passed but I'd still like to see Rio/OT progressing more smoothly.
