Give him time. This is the easy stuff as far as announcements go. Wait till they start looking to become a producer and have to negotiate with all the third parties. Hopefully TNG's dramas have opened up a quicker path by highlighting some of the pitfalls when dealing with third party contractors and government agencies, TO's etc in the Northern Territory, but I doubt the hurdles will be any lower.
And look out if there's a refinery involved.
