    Thanks for asking, Joe.

I haven't looked at Tilt. My particular attraction to IFN was the very bad restrictive debt covenant that consumed almost all cash and prevented new investment. Remove that burden and Kaboom!

On-shore wind continues to be the cheapest electricity generator by a useful margin. The latest giant turbines are soooo much better.

The SA battery proves a whole new paradigm that particularly benefits wind (and run-of-river hydro), by both frequency stabilisation and being able to store off-peak generation and offer it at peak times. Solar + battery does not enjoy this scale of uplift.

I am very keen to seen what the IFN BoD does next. There is cheap finance available for new installs from the Clean Energy Finance Corp and Northern Australia Fund. I have very high expectations of IFN in the next 12 months.

The protections being extended to the sunk investment in fossil fuel generators by the federal government are an impediment, but cannot change the technological leaps going on.

    Cheers

    Ash
