re: Ann: IDL: Industrea acquires AJ Lucas UIS... Terry, I read it as a plus. Good for the balance sheet but also a positive reflection on how undervalued Ajl's core business (ex-Cuadrilla) is.
I may have misread but he key phrase I'm relying on is "Underground" Horizontal drilling (SIS) as opposed to drilling from the surface to horizontal. I'm assuming the rigs are specifically targetted for operating from underground sites (eg, ug coal for BHP etc)
They note that this segment of the business contributes just 5% of EBITDA.
This price of $25 million represents roughly one sixth of current mkt cap of approx 150 million. Extrapolating what the other 19/20 of current earning segements is worth (ie, 20 x 25 million) brings a mkt cap closer to $500m.
