re: Ann: Indicative Proposal by Daton to buy ... Freddie, a special dividend is often given to shareholders when a company sells an asset. I can think of half a dozen off the top of my head. A company with a market cap of <$8m, might need less cash than $12m for exploration, so it could give some back. I expect Bergen will be selling off shares pretty soon, as they seldom keep them for a long time, so the share price *could* get considerably cheaper. The market looks to be waiting for Bergen to sell down the line. Re Bergen having less interest, Bergen will stay in whatever company will have them- let's just hope it's not us!
Scint_U, I read the potential JV's with Daton as a good thing. They are *in addition* to the asset sale. Any joint venture is a good thing.
