I am not the keeper of all knowledge on this mob either - but I think that once you hand GBG to the Chinese then it is really all over. If GBG can stay afloat and win the race to to store this waste - then there may at least be some hope. As I have all but given up hope - what is the point in voting for the proposal?

I also think that the Australian Government has some responsibility here to ensure that private Australian equity is not the sacrificial lamb and the Chinese Government walks away with a 100 year project for a mere $3 billion - not all Chinese money either.
